AI Business Minute: Prompt Guide

The four keys to writing an effective prompt:

• Persona

• Task

• Context

• Format

Example:

You are a [industry] expert. Identify what is wrong with my attached document and suggest improvements based on [relevant details about your business]. Use bullet points.

How I write my prompts:

I write the task, I give an example/template if I have one. Then I’ll add a persona at the start of my prompt. If I don’t have an example I’ll add more format details at the end (e.g., formal tone, bullet points, 3rd grade reading level, etc).
